(Can be manufactured with any camouflage pattern desired)

Model: 'Prizrak' Infiltration Suit

Legality: Restricted to Russian special forces.

Faction: Favored by Russian special forces marksmen and scouts.

Manufacturer: Rosboron

Intent: To allow SSO operatives to carry out clandestine activities in Silicon Point with a minimal chance of detection, thus allowing them to act against whoever they need with little fear of being discovered.

Description: Spoken of in hushed whispers by few people, it's inner workings and capabilities known to fewer still. It is highly prized among those special forces operators for whom stealth is paramount. The 'Prizrak' has a suite of highly advanced functions, most notable among its therm-optic camouflage system.
The camouflage systems ensure that the suit's surface temperature is always the equivalent of the room temperature, made possible with the advanced cooling lattice that runs underneath the camouflage layer. The coolant must be replaced monthly however, to ensure it's effectiveness.

The outermost layer consists of a layer of flexible highly reactive photo-reactive panels , that act much like a chameleon's skin. These panels adjust to their surroundings, which are constantly monitored using an array of cameras. Unlike many closing devices in science fiction, it does not actually bend light, and is more effective from afar rather than up close.

Up close, particularly in the five meter band, it becomes quite clear that the user is not what they seem. Additionally, when the user is moving, especially when rapid movements are made, the camouflage 'flickers' making the user visible for a brief period. The camouflage can be set to flicker however, making them hard to track in close quarters combat. This does however have a chance to overload memory buffers and should be used only for short bursts.

The entire suit is covered in a specialized flexible composite, giving full body coverage. Given the suit's purpose isn't allow the user to avoid large scale firefights, the composite is light, allowing for greater mobility. While it can stop most standard knives and other stabbing/cutting weapons, it is unable to stop any intermediate rifle rounds, but will quite likely stop anything smaller.

The helmet's optic systems offer binocular magnification and low light amplification. Thermal or infrared options were ignored in the name of interfacing with thermal optics via smartgun interface.

It's head up display is fully capable of interfacing with a smartlinked weapon, can replace the user's vision with the feed from the weapon's optic, or displaying the feed from the optic as a picture-in-picture feed.

The helmet will also automatically step down light levels, making the user immune to being blinded by sudden increases in light level or being flashed in the eyes/optics with a laser.

The helmet's auditory sensors also feature an automatic stepdown function, and will dampen extraneously loud noises while enhancing sifter sounds to a degree.

The suit also features a passive radar with an approximate seventy percent effectiveness with a range of one hundred meters. The system is augmented by a motion detector which is effective in a 20 sq/m area around the user, not accounting for any significantly thick walls or obstacles.

The suit has a DataShare link that can be used to share data with other suits or compatible systems, and uses it's long ranged radio as a transmission medium.

To protect the wearer from airborne gas based threats, the suit has an in-built filter and an hour of oxygen. The oxygen comes in replaceable gas cartridges that can be refilled.

The suit is powered by a powerful charge pack that can power the suit for twenty four hours , reduced to twelve hours if the camouflage systems are used for an extended period of time and eight hours if the radar and or motion tracker is active as well.

Finally, the suit comes with a webbing system made from the same photo-reactive material that allows for the storage of ammunition and equipment. This includes a holster for a large handgun (such as the UTF-15) and two know sheaths. It also includes a rifle back made from the same material to allow for easy and stealthy transport of up to a large sniper rifle.

These suits are extremely rare, as are parts for them. Maintenance and diagnostics requires specialized equipment. Each suit is locked to it's wearer and while bypassing it is possible, it's highly discouraged given the heat that attempting to acquire one of these suits would bring down on someone.
