TSNIITOCHMASH or the Central Scientific - Research Institute for Precision Machine Engineering, has been a significant contributer to the Russian defence industry since its founding in 1944. Today, TSNIITOCHMASH, provides quality products to the Russian Armed Forces and the Rosgvardia, as it has been in the years since. The company has a long history of providing the specialist weapons that Russian special forces, intelligence agencies and special operations units have had a demand for since their inception. While Kalashnikov has always had the Russian infantryman's approval, the average 'Spetsnaz' (Spetsnaz here being used as a generic term for special forces) operator has nothing but praise for the vast majority of TSNIITOCHMASH products.

In the modern era, TSNIITOCHMASH has eclipsed even CKIB SOO in it's manufacturing and design capabilities, slowly pushing out a former mainstay of the Russian small arms manufacturing and design triad. While it's domestic sales are where the majority of it's profits are earned, it has struggled to make an impact on the international market. Token attempts at manufacturing civilian legal 'self defence weapons' have earned the company ire in the American market.

The high quality of it's highly restricted military grade weapons have always made it popular in domestic markets and select South East Asian markets, including historic defense allies of Russia, such as India and China. Both countries' special forces, who train alongside certain Russian units, are known to make use of the weapon along with local analogues.

A little known fact about TSNIITOCHMASH is that the GRU and SVU have been using their limited distribution centers and relative insignificance to equip and supply their operators with arms and ammunition. So far, this activity has gone unnoticed, and the company is more than adequately compensated financially as well as with guarantee of securing future contracts. Not that the latter has ever been a problem for them.

This arrangement does have other benefits, for example their main sales office and distribution center for the region in Silicon Point is guarded by Russian SSO operators under GRU jurisdiction as Spetsnaz GRU. Their protection is augmented by former Russian Armed Forces issue tracked automated combat units, set to attack anyone not 'chipped' with an appropriate IFF code. These platforms are small, and only typically armed with a GPMG and short range eletro-stun device (both will be subbed if needed).

The facility features a number of large landing pads for transport VTOLs, and sees a considerable amount of diplomatic traffic as a result of the company's position on the Russian Military-Industrial commission.
